I was able to use my SB-600 and my studio strobes with the YN560III (a four light setup) buy purchasing this kit for less than $100. I bought the flash with two YN602 receivers and a YN600-TX. But I purchased the YN-560III because I went to the Scott Kelby’s class and he gave it a thumbs up and not to mention the cost compared to Nikon Flashes. I wanted more portable equipment, so I began to research a bit more and found information about a few third-party manufacturers of flashes that are doing big things with OCF capabilities (like Godox & Newer). So I then ended up buying a set of studio strobes instead, but soon grew tired of dealing with them for certain on-location shoots. But when reading reviews, I learned that there were known issues with some of these flashes and I found that I could buy studio strobes for less and I got curious. So I wanted to upgrade my Nikon SB-600 and was thinking to move to a Nikon SB-800 or SB-900/910.
